Students are dismissed at 1:30 pm every Monday for staff development and grade level planning.

Regular Day - 2:30 for all students.
Minimum Day - 11:40 for all students.
Early Release on Mondays - 1:30 for all students.

Drop-off Procedures

All students go through the Multi-Purpose room to get to their classrooms & the playground. Students arriving between 7:40 - 7:45am will wait in the cafeteria until dismissal to their playground at 7:45. Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st graders will be walked over to their playground by two teachers. If your student is NOT eating breakfast at the school cafeteria, we suggest they arrive after 7:45am.

If your child is absent from school, please notify the school by calling the school before 9:00am. When leaving a message on our voice mail, please state your child's name, room number or teacher's name, and the reason for the absence. If your child arrives to school after 8:00am, he/she must check in with the office.

Campus Visitors

ALL visitors must report to the front office, sign in, and receive a Visitor's Pass before going on campus or visiting classes.

Update Student Information

For every student who attends a Plumas Lake Elementary School District school, an updated, complete registration form must be filled out each year. This form gives us the necessary information to deal with any emergencies that may arise. EMERGENCY NUMBERS ARE VITAL! It is essential to the safety and well being of our students that we be notified of any changes to the information on the registration forms. We will only release children to parents, guardians, or names of people you list on the registration form.

We have one pick-up lane. Please wait while traffic moves forward. The second lane is for drive-through only. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR UNATTENDED IN EITHER OF THESE LANES. If you prefer to pick up your child personally, please park and walk up using one of the crosswalks in our parking lot.
