For extra help have your students complete the reteach pages. This is also a great resource as parents to see what/how we teach the concepts in class. When this document comes up click on the bookmark icon on the left hand side of the page and choose your chapter.

We are learning our multiplication facts this month and will be practicing and using them throughout the year. Your child is expected to know the facts from 0-12.  Please have your child practice these facts every night using flash cards, or going online to www.multiplication.com 

Every Friday we will have a times test of 40 problems for each number 2-12. They will have 2 minutes to complete those 40 problems.  When they pass a number they will receive a sticker on the multiplication scoop chart. And the following week they will get a new test with a new number.  If they do not pass then the next week they will take that same test again. You are allowed to take it as many times as you can to pass. If they reach all the way to 12 they will receive an ice cream sundae party.
